Hamish

This is Hamish a lovely little dog that lives in Freuchie I was asked to paint him as a Christmas gift. I think the owner was happy with the finished product.

Still not feeling at all good so just a short little thought for today.

Another year is dawning,

Dear Friends, please let it be,

In working, playing or in waiting, 

Another year with thee.

Another year of progress,

Another year of harmony,

Another year of proving 

That friendship is such joy.

Another year of mercies,

Of friendship and of peace,

Another year of gladness,

The glory of company and family.

Another year of learning

And another year of trust,

Of quiet, happy rest.

Another year of service,

Of quiet happy sharing,

Another year of training

For the days that lie ahead.

Another year is dawning,

So please, let it be,

On earth, and all around us,

Another year to be remembered.

In the hallows of our lives.
