A Windy day on the Coastal Path.
I spoke yesterday about the fun of trying to do a jigsaw puzzle. I find those online fascinating because in most you catch a glimpse of the finished picture before it shatters into jigsaw pieces. it is possible later during the building of it to sneak a peak but it is so much more fun trying to work it out without such peaks.
So the puzzle begins with a bit of mystery to be solved. There are so many differing shapes and an array of colour. It begins with an abstract painting calling out for order to be made. Each little piece is abstract in its own right.
So whether it is an online puzzle or the ones in a box made of cardboard we look and are somewhat perplexed by the enormity of the tax before us. It starts with an incoherent jumbled mess.
But then as the great sage said, "Why should things be easy to understand?" Challenges are the things of life, the things that bring to each day a bit of spice.
Many hundreds of years ago Socrates said, "The world is a puzzle there is no need to make sense out of it."
But that does not stop us from trying. Being human is in itself a bit of a puzzle and yet we all one way or another wish to make sense of it.
So let us return to our jigsaw.
If it does not fit do not force it. If you try to make everything fit when it is obviously not right to do so you only damage the pieces. In life when we try to force things to fit where they do not belong, at the very least you meet with resistance and it can be even worse only bring you pain.
In the land of the puzzle patience is the answer. So in life. We should concern ourselves with what is within our control. In times of difficulty remember this too will pass. Like the puzzle solve it we will.
So be patient and make the most of every day and every moment.
The Puzzle and my thoughts gave me so many thoughts but this is more than enough for my wee head this morning.
Have a good day.
